all for ~1300$ shipped

I'm having a tough time seeing much of a difference cost-wise if I try to build it myself (would be a first timer). Here is what i came up with on pcpartpicker:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2dSvL

Can someone please let me know if i have chosen the best motherboard, cooler, network adapter? I am looking to max out BF4, WOW and future FPS and I want to try and future proof it, hence the i7 instead of i5. I have read multiple forums posts here about how good the R9 280X is, is this a good build? Can anyone help please?

Solution
Can go 4770, but for the slight difference, costwise, I'd stick to the K, may not be thinking OC now, but 6months - a year down the road, may want the extra horsepower for a new game or other software

Your build is cheaper - you don't need a ethernet network card with either - both mobos have ethernet ports built in, on your you can cut the PSU back to about a good 550 rather than the 850 you list and save a little more, I'd go with your build

The GTX 770 is faster than the 280X and all these parts are better quality than the one you put together prebuilt.

Thanks Razer, I was just doing some comparisons on gpuboss and i was going to ask if the 770 is better than the 280X. Is the 1000W power supply needed to power that card? My goal is to get my total purchase to about 1000$ (sorry I didn't mention that in my original post).

Unlikely that I would add another card. Just looking for single card that can max out current games.

Well I added the red led fan to help illuminate the case and keep it cooler. I added the 2 pack for the corsair h100i to improve the fans and reduce the noise produced from the stock fans. They are optional so you can take them off if you want.

Now that i think about it, i dont think I will really mess with overclocking this system much, so can anyone suggest a good cpu/mobo in the I7 series that is a non "k"?
