I need a motherboard for a i5 3570k for right around $100. I am looking at the GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H. I was going to get the asrock extreme 4, but it went off sale and is now out of my price range. Can anyone suggest me a baord for this with some oc or is the Gigabyte the best board.

Any motherboard with those chipsets would be compatible with your processor. To find the motherboards, Google - H77 chipset motherboards. You'll see various sites and comparisons. If you're concerned about the price, go to eBay.com and search H77, Z77, and other.

These days Gigabyte or Asus would be a better choice than Intel's own motherboards. Remember there's a difference in a chipset and a motherboard.
