Will my current gaming PC be capable of running next gen games on very high or ultra settings?

Can my current PC setup run next gen games like bf4, ac4 and batman arkham origins on ultra or very high setting.

Here are my PC components:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A75M PRO4+ Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Sniper 2 x 4gb ddr3 ram
GPU: Asus Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card
PSU: Corsair GS600w Gaming Series
OS: Windows 8.1

I would say around high if overclocked.

If i swap my current amd athlon cpu with an intel i5-4670k will that be sufficient enough?

You would have to swap out the motherboard as well if you are switching to an i5.

If you do, you should be able to play BF4 on high at least, with AA, and AF or whatever turned off.

For the games now yes for the games coming up maybe but we all cant be sure things are always changing .. your fm2+ board there will be a new apu after first of the year you may want to wait to see if its a lot better then the one you have now.. I wouldn't just jump ship as of yet your system is already game ready now as it is and a lot of people will tell you if your going to go to intel the amd 8350 would be your better buy for the gaming system ofcourse your would need a new amd board for it.. Look at my specs I am gaming just fine and I have 2 apu setups!
