Hi all,
Like many I'm also planning to buy a SSD. But I have a different thinking.

When we are coming to SSD's definitely everyone of us look for performance. Speed.
But I'm looking at other 2 aspects. which are

1. Reliability and SUPPORT.
The reason SUPPORT is important is, no one knows when electronics go bad. Because they are Electronics. So, to put short and Straight.

WHICH SSD PROVIDES THE BEST SUPPORT. IF MY SSD DIES, AND IF IT HAS WARRANTY, WHICH SSD WILL GIVE BETTER SUPPORT???

I READ MANY OF THE COMPANIES HAVE WORST SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

So, Does anyone with their experience can say, which SSD Company offers, best Support.
Suppose if my SSD dies after 3 months, then what are my options and how soon are they addressed.

Speed and Reliability can be compromised just to a small extent if a Company offers better Support.
This is my personal opinion though.

Thank You.

Any help is highly appreciated. Thank You.

^ This is all very true but just read this article and see if TLC NAND might meet your endurance needs. The 840 Evo is cheaper than the Pro.

The only size I would be tempted to shell out the extra money for the Pro is at an entry level 120GB. Just by their nature the larger an SSD the faster the drive. I just bought a 500GB 840 Evo during the recent sales and it came today. I have not had a chance to install it yet but it should blow my 3 year old 120GB OCZ Vertex 2 away. I paid $260 for that 120GB Vertex 2 just over 3 years ago. I got the 500GB 840 Evo for $299.
