I choose the 780 over the r9 290 or 290X because they run extremely hot and only give a couple more FPS in games, the heat is what concerns me and this 780 with the turbine like fan will not heat up the case, but still keeping the card 20 degrees Celsius cooler than the R9 290x or 290.
