Hi
If you mean DL380p G8 then :
You must have Expansion Slots Primary Riser - equiped as standart option in you server - check to make sure

1x PCIe 3.0 X16 Full Length, Full Height Slot
1x PCIe 3.0 X8 Half Length, Full Height Slot
1x PCIe 2.0 X4 Half Length, Full Height Slot

No bios upgrade is needed but HP allays advise to use Latest one !

FYI :

HP 150W PCI-E Power Cable Kit
669777-B21
HP 225W PCIe Power Cable Kit
728539-B21
NVIDIA Quadro 4000 2GB PCI-E Adapter
NOTE: The DL380p Gen8 can support up to two Quadro 4000 cards. One card in each x16 slot in riser 1 and riser 2. Riser 2 function requires a second processor.
NOTE: Each Quadro 4000 card requires a 150W PCI-E Power Cable Kit (P/N 669777-B21).
NOTE: The Quadro 4000 option kit is not supported in the 12LFF and 25SFF Configure-to-order Servers.
655933-B21
NVIDIA Quadro 6000 6GB PCI-E Adapter
NOTE: The DL380p Gen8 can support one Quadro 6000 card in a x16 slot in riser 2. Riser 2 function requires a second processor.
NOTE: Installation of the Quadro 6000 requires selection of the HP DL380p Gen8 Double Wide Graphics Riser Cage Kit (P/N 662885-B21). This riser kit includes a power cable along with the riser.
NOTE: The Quadro 6000 option kit is not supported in the 12LFF and 25SFF Configure-to-order Servers.

Hi Nikolay,

Does the DL380p G8 server support linking of two Quadro 4000 cards together via SLI bridge? It seems to be a quite long SLI bridge required.
