Nvidia's site says nothing about ddr3 or ddr5 mismatch. i request you to rechck. please tell me for sure

Its not ideal to pair a GDDR5 with a GDDR3 gpu in sli pretty much the slower one will bottleneck you and thats not what you want even if its cheaper..Go for the GDDR5

I would be wary of trying to SLi cards with different memory types, cards with different ram amounts can have issues in SLi for some people.
