Could I ask why you would like 12GB of memory? Nothing posted by you warrants that amount. If you were running VM(s) or a RAMDisk while gaming I could understand, but from a gaming performance perspective nothing will be gained by increasing system memory. If you still insist on buying more memory however, buy the exact same thing you currently have to keep the benefits of dual channel memory.

Upgrading your GPU to feed the hungry BF4 beast is a great idea on the other hand! I would recommend a Radeon R9 280X. I have had great success with this particular card:

The first shipment of the 280x has sold out, but the next shipment is already en route so stay posted to your favorite e-tailers and watch prices! Happy shopping!

I guess I don't need RAM. I heard someone said you need more than 8GB RAM for COD: Ghosts. So, I figured I would get some more. If its not needed then disregard that. Thanks for the help. I have a CPU cooler already but I haven't installed it because I haven't needed it and I haven't seen any need to overclock the CPU. I don't even know how to do it through the BIOS anyway.
