I own an EVGA p55 SLI Motherboard made to use two NVIDIA cards, but right now i'm only using it for a single 6870. I was wondering if I could buy another 6870 and crossfire it in this motherboard, is this possible? Thank you!

Yes, your motherboard will support CrossfireX. Just be sure you have adequate power to run the two.

I have a 850w Corsair, currently running a Lynnfield 750 i5 at 4.0ghz plus the current graphic card, do you think it will handle the xfire?

You will be perfectly fine for a 2x 6870 crossfire.
