Hi, i just purchased
SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C9D-8GXL

I know numerous questions have been asked about the topic but i could not find a solution for my situation.
My problem is that in my bios options, i dont see any xmp profiles. In fact i can only select 1333mhz for the ram frequency. I would like to kow if my asrock b75m and my intel 2120 3.30 sandy bridge can support the 1600 mhz speed..... because i cant set it.

so don't. leave them on auto that will use whatever the mobo/cpu can do and the rest goes into lower timings so nothing is lost just converted. it's even done auto as far as i know. open up a cpu z in windows and check what they get set to.

ram max frequency is highly overrated. the difference 66 or 133 or even 200 more mhz make is in the single digits area. running ram at lower than rated frequencies gives also a + for stability.
