System Specs:
EVGA X58 Classified 3-way SLI
Intel i920 @ 3.0GHz
12GB Corsair DDR3 in Triple Channel
2xGTX285 in SLI
Corsair 950w PSU

I'm looking for a single DX11 card with HDMI out. Currently using an adapter on the GTX285 to get HDMI out, but it doesn't support sound. My budget would be around $300. I'd like to get a single card, or even two cards in SLI, that will have the newest specs without sacrificing my 1080p gaming at 1920x1200.

Thank you in advance!

The GTX 770 should exceed the FPS performance of your current configuration. I would expect the 760 to at least match DX9 game performance of your current setup.

For under $300, you may be looking in the area of the...
GTX 760
or
Radeon R9 280X

Both are good cards, and should match the GTX 285 SLI pretty easily.

It will be difficult to find a SLI or Crossfire solution under $300 with a great imporvement.

This NVidia card comes highly recommended by the community and meets your criteria. Your power consumption should also drop quite a bit:

Note that the above card requires two 150W 8-pin PCI-E power connectors. Your Corsair may not have them so double check.

If you do not wish to upgrade your PSU, here is a link to a more conservative GPU:

Hope that helps. Good luck!

So will the GTX760 or perhaps, the GTX770, meet or exceed the fps performance of the SLI'ed GTX285's? Not all of my games are DX11. My PSU is fine. It has plenty of 8-pin connectors.
