Hi, I'm having this recurrent problem with BSOD, but only when I'm playing games, such as GTA IV and CoD Ghosts and other games that has some high graphic requrements.
I 've builded the system myeself, and here are the specs:
MB: Gigabyte Sniper M5
CPU: Intel Core-i7 4770K 3,5Ghz
RAM: G-Skill 16GB 2400Mhz
GPU: XFX Radeon R9 290 4GB
PSU: NZXT 1000W
SSD: Samsung Evo
OS: Win 7 64-bit.
CPU-fan: CoolerMaster V8 GTS.

Temperature has been about:
70 degrees celcious for CPU
and 60 for GPU. So I don't think it's the cooling that's causing the problem.

I've tried to uninstall the GPU driver, and install an earlier driver. I've updated the BIOS to the latest driver. I've run a memtest, by typing MDSCHED, and no errors were found.

Can somebody please help me with this. It's very annoying.

PS, please let me know if you need anything.

I've been running at 2400 but after 3 BSOD's I put it back to default, but by default it was running on "auto" and put itself to 2400. I also tried to manually set it to 2000. Now I just set them to 1333, and run some stress test. I've individually tested CPU, RAM and GPU. And with RAM and GPU there were no problems, but with the CPU, it failed after less than half a minute. I've been using HeavyLoad as testing program.

You probably got a defective module then. I would suggest taking all of your RAM sticks out and powering your system on using one RAM stick at a time. It's a bit tedious but that's the only real way to check for a faulty module.

I have the same issue with my xfx R9 290X, but I do not have any BSOD with BF4. Only games other than this. I have tested my system memory and it all passes. The crashes are all related to some ati*.sys file in the minidump. The latest no-beta drivers on amd's website causes random bsod while not even gaming. driver vers. 13.11 is what I'm using atm. The drivers that came with the card.
