Both boards still require bios version F4 to support the 4930k, and there's no real way to tell if that's what it will have on it when it ships. If it has sat on a self for awhile it will have an older bios that doesn't support the 4930k, until the bios update is applied. If its fresh from the factory it will most likely already have bios rev F4 installed. This didn't use to be a big problem as many boards would still post with the cpu and allow for a bios update to fully support the CPU, but it seems more common now that boards don't do this. Asus has solved this issue with their usb bios flashback which doesn't even require a cpu to be installed to update the bios, unfortunately Gigabyte has yet to do something similar.
