Hey guys, I am trying to figure out if 2-way SLI with 780's is possible/probable with my current setup.
Specs:
>Asus Z87-Deluxe
>i7 4770K @ 4.3GHz
>8GBx2 (16GB) of Corsair Vengeance @1866MHz
>Corsair 760i PSU
>2x EVGA GTX 760 OC edition w/ ACX coolers
>WD 2TB 7200/64 Black
>Samsung 840 EVO 250GB
>H100i CPU cooler
I was considering taking advantage of EVGA's Step-Up program to attain two of their ACX cooled 780's. I currently have no issues with the capacity of my current PSU regarding the 760's in SLI, but am concerned that I will be going over the PSU's capacity making this jump. Under PCPartPicker, I noticed that I am still below the Wattage threshold, but am concerned that the system might draw more than advertised, especially with my i7 OC'd already. Estimated Wattage from the site is currently 712W...am I cutting it too close running the 760i PSU with these cards???
