SSD Worth getting in my case?

I'm building a PC and I already plan on getting a 1tb internal harddrive, but would it be worth getting a small SSD to put my OS on and a few other things?

Yes. Unless you are on an extreme budget or the like, I would always get an SSD for the boot drive for your OS. The price premium on them has come down enough that just getting one for your OS is worth it. The boot times are incredible and makes the overall system feel much more responsive.
I went from about a 90 second boot time to about 15 seconds in Windows 7. The overall system feels much more snappy now.
