Hi,

Everything is in the title. I actually have a rig with a Core i5 2500K and a ASUS P8P67 Pro motherboard. I want to upgrade my old GTX 570 GPU for a brand new 780 Ti.

This one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

It says in the specs that the card have a PCI Express 3.0 interface. Will it works with my motherboard and if yes, will the performance of the card suffer ?

Thanks for answering !

Yes the card will work on a pci express 2.0 slot and it will not bottleneck it. You would get the same performance if it were on a 3.0 slot. Current graphics cards dont even utilize that extra bandwidth provided by the 3.0 slot. Nothing to worry about.
