I'm looking at 23-24 inch displays.

These are the leading candidates, but please feel free to mention something else. Thanks.

Those monitors look nice, but it doesn't list the refresh rate. And the refresh rate is like how many FPS you can get on your computer. So 60Hz & 75Hz looks ok, 120Hz and 144Hz is like as smooth as your eyes can see. So monitors with refresh rates higher than 100Hz are gaming monitors.

So here is a decent gaming monitor:

On amazon its $266

Hope this helps

Hi,

Those options you mentnioned are preety good, apart from the response time (wich is REALLY important while gaming). However I would definitely reccomend you to go with something like an ASUS VG248QE. This monitor is fantastic:

- 144Hz (allows you to play in 3D using NVidia Graphics Card)
- 1080p FULL HD
- 1ms GTG response time (wich is great for gaming)
- It has clear colors (huge ammount of them), great brightness and a very sharp image

It costs about 280$ and it is perfect for both gaming and video. If you want something from another brand and a little more expensive go for a BenQ XL2420TE. This monitor it's priced at about 450$ but you can get it now for the same price as the other (GO FOR IT!). It can also play games in 3D, is 1080p FULL HD, has 1ms GTG response time, great color reproduction and a very sharp image. All in all I think it is the best deal right now!

Hope I've helped,
