The board you mentioned isn't particularly good for overclocking. If you could get one of these you would be better off, in my opinion: Asus M5A97 R2.0 / Asus M5A99X / Gigabyte 970A-UD3 (higher than rev 1.3/1.4) / Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3.
Here's something you can look at for a guide. You can look through brands to see which are better for it (higher phase design tends to be better):

With stock cooling you should be able to clock to at least 4.0, so FX 8350 speed. I'm at 4.2 GHz on mine (with a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO) and I haven't had to change the voltages, so I've only gained a few degrees celsius.
