My Pc:
Intel Core I5 4670 @ 3.4GHz
Asrock H87 Fatal1ty Performance
Gigabyte GTX 660
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance
1TB Seagate Sata3 @ 7200RPM
Now I have coppied about 6 GB from my external harddrive yo my Pc and my speed was about 40MB/s and then on my friends Pc the same folder and his went @ 80MB/s, The harddrive is USB 3 and was plugged into USB 3 on both Computers. The only thing I can think of is the Motherboard. and his pc is:
