Hello Tom's hardware community. I''m building my first gaming PC and would just like some help on buildng choices. Here's my build so far:

The PSU you picked is overkill for that build. The one I picked is made by the best, Seasonic and is closer to what you will need. You would be fine with a 500W PSU but I you might want to upgrade in the future plus PSUs tend to lose efficiency after some years. You might want to buy a few case fans for better cooling, the cooler your system stays the faster your parts work. I would highly recommend getting this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-case-fan-nfp121300. Not exactly eye-candy but very good and dead-silent.
There's a couple of places where you could save a few dollars. Where are you getting your CPU?

Also, for your first gaming motherboard. that one seems a bit pricey.

That's about $175 dollars in savings right there. Which you could put towards a nice SSD!

Most of the other parts look pretty decent, although in my opinion I would question the video card. Again I wonder where you are shopping..
