I'm looking to put together a triple monitor setup with my new computer and was hoping someone could give me some suggestions. I don't want to spend a fortune on monitors but I'm looking for monitors with four things.

1.) 23" give or take 1"
2.) VSA mountable
3.) Good for both gaming and video playback
4.) Minimum amount of bezel

I don't care about built in speakers or usb ports or stands (I'll be mounting everything on a triple monitor stand) and connectivity isn't a major issue.

Right now I'm looking at the following IPS Displays.

The Dell has made an appearance in every IPS gaming monitor review I've found but I don't really need the USB ports or any of the other bells and whistles. I love the quality of IPS monitors but I'm worried about ghosting in games due to their higher response time and input lag. My current LCD monitor is 5ms and I notice the ghosting sometimes.

I'm also looking at these TN panels.

Any suggestions? IPS and better image quality or TN and better responsiveness? I'm not a pro gamer but I'll take any advantage I can get.

Go with the ASUS VN248H-P. I prefer IPS panels for a triple monitor set-up for the viewing angle.
Even your side monitors are angled colors and pictures won’t look washed out
Also it has a narrow bezel so it won’t be distracting on you and a 5ms response time decent enough for gaming.

I do have the Acer H236hl 23" IPS monitor. Out of the box color was nice and looks clean all together. You wouldn't notice the bezel. And for the price you can't beat it. Got three from newegg for $129.99 free shipping.
Downside is there is no vesa holes. But I saw someone did a DIY vesa holes for triple monitor stand.

If I were to choose from you choices, I'll pick the dell u2312hm that one was my second choice if not for the price.
The ergonomics of the is a big plus for me and so far it has good reviews and sought most after monitor.

If you are gonna mount 3 monitors I don't suggest using monitor mounts unless you have too. I set up 4 monitors and it was a pain in the a$$. I suggest sticking with the stock desktop mounts and make sure they are quality.

Also the IPS are great in multi monitor as you don't have to worry about angle. Some say the better graphics outweighs the slower response.
