Everything turns on the then PSU Fans stops running and few seconds later the desktop shuts off

Processor:
AMD FX-4130 Zambezi 3.8GHz Socket AM3+ Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4130FRGUBOX

Motherboard:
Asus M5A97 R2.0

Graphics Card:
XFX R7800 SERIES

Everything turns on the then PSU Fans stops running and few seconds later the desktop shuts off. Everything is brand new and I sent back the Power Supply and they sent me another and it's doing the same thing. What can be the issue?

What mobo & BIOS revision do you have? May need to flash bios.

It is a Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard and I am not sure. Everything is brand new and I don't even have window installed.

Need more details to help you. From the moment you press the power button how long does it take for the pc to stop? Does it boot into bios or does it shut off before that? Do you see anything on your monitor?

That cpu is only supported from BIOS Rev 1602 - look on the box - it should list the BIOS Rev there. If it's not a high enough BIOS - you will need some help to get newer flash - maybe borrow an older cpu.

Nothing shows up and the power shuts off after 25-30 seconds. Are you saying put an older CPU into the motherboard and then update the Bios flash?

I agree with dish_moose it sounds like you might need to update bios. You should try to find out if the version you are using now is older than 1602 before doing that though. In case you do want to upgrade your BIOS http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1754596/bios-update-m5a97.html

Is there a way to do this without changing the CPU? The RAM is inside and no beeps are going off and DRAM and other LED lights are not going off.

What RAM do you have? try the single RAM in different slot to see you can boot the PC or not. Because the BIOS 1602 came out 3/14/2013, your MB should have the newer than the 1602 version, that why I think maybe the RAM.

Look on the box the mobo came in - should tell you the BIOS revision. Where did you buy your parts?

So I put in an older Processor in like you said and everything is running fine now. Except that the graphics card came in defective and I have to send that back. I put in a different graphics card and it runs fine. The only issue I have is not knowing how to update the BIOS.

The Ram is Corsair Vengence 4gb but that isn't the issue since I am using the computer as I type. I need to update or flash the BIOS like dish_moose said. Also the revision is not on the Mobo box.

Go to the Asus website and download the latest BIOS and the manual if you don't have it. I'm having a very hard time connecting to the Asus web site at the moment. I believe your mobo has EZ Flash - look for it in the BIOS.
