I want to make a gaming Rig to achieve the Best pound for pound performance. However there are so many PSUs of all ranges with Power and Prices. Clearly a $20 1500 Watt PSU is VERY suspicious. But for a Budget gamer I need to find the best quality, cheapest price, and learn more about PSUs.

More about : budget psu

Go to JonnyGuru.com & do some reading. We cannot recommend any psus unless we know what type of hardware you will be using.

It's not really easy to figure out who has built a PSU because companies buy them from the manufacturer and then rename them. I always go for Seasonic PSU's. All XFX PSUs are made by seasonic and some antec/corsair ones too. The required wattage depends on the rest of your components.
Read this to help you with picking one http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-...

And these if you wanna know more about PSUs

Some of you are asking for a specification of the Power so here it is:
I want atleast 500-700 Watts.
For a GTX 770 in a mini-ITX build (not definite on mini-itx and the case I chose can fit normal ATX PSUs.)

So from your answer the best price range is $80 for a PSU? As it literally could hold these rest of you computer HOSTAGE :D  (with one surge and all dead) Therefore it is the most importatnt piece. Correct?

Don't know if it is the most important part but a bad PSU can be a dangerous thing. Even if it doesn't end up burning your system a bad PSU might claim to have 650W but it will be able to give a lot less than that. You might experience random crashes too. A good PSU will just offer better protection and system stability in general. Another important thing is the efficiency of a quality PSU. To power up the same system a bad power supply will use more energy than a good one. The result is a higher electricity bill and more heat inside your PC case, which is always a bad thing...
