Nvidia Gtx 660 Ftw edition vs Radeon HD 7870

SO i have been wondering which is better, the 660ftw or a 7870. In case you dont know the ftw edition means it has 3gb instead of the usual 2. So for pretty decent games such as payday two and battlefield 3/4 what would be better?

The memory on the ftw isn't going to help you much unless you're going with more than 2 monitors.

EDIT: can you link the 2 specific cards you're looking at?

basically, Memory on a GFX card is for higher res and multiple monitors, 2GB is enough for 2 monitors at 1080p.

if you're thinking of a 660ftw ........... go right for a bone stock 660ti. it will be faster.
