Hi all,
First time PC builder. Just put together a parts list and wanted to have it critiqued. My career is in science so I do some fairly heavy computing and memory intensive processes as well as photoshop/illustrator design (hence the necessity of 8GB RAM, might even need more?), but I also like to do some casual gaming off and on. For example, my current PC doesn't run Skyrim and I'd love to play that at some point. If there's anywhere you think I could make this even cheaper, that would be awesome; I make next to nothing as a grad student so skimming $100 off of this would be wonderful.

Final note: I may not get around to purchasing this until February (will be out of town for 1.5 months). I realize I'm asking you guys to tell the future, but do you think there will be much price difference in components now vs. February? Just wondering since it's currently cyber "Monday" week, I know the AMD Kaveri processors are coming out next month, etc.
Thanks!
