Just got new RAM, should I wait till I get the rest of the new pc parts or can I just go ahead and use it on my old comp ?

So I just got http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004U4WPZA/ref=oh_deta..., and I'm also buying new pieces for a new computer, my question is that is it a horrible idea to go ahead and install the new ram or should i just wait till the rest of my new parts come in?

thats why i am asking, could it screw up the ram, severly decrease its lifetime? would it be just as fast on the new computer that i would build when i transfer it over?

what board do you have? what board are you getting? what's the voltage printed on the side of the ram?

amd870 doesn't say much.............. but I would still try it. won't run to spec though.
