So heres what happened, my laptop hard drive completely failed on me so i had to buy a new one. I download a the exact win7 hp 64bit iso onto a usb so i can redownload. I get to the part where i put in my product key so i use the oem one on my laptop but it doesnt work. Will microsoft supply me with a new one since my hdd died on me and im using the same laptop? Thanks in advance

Hello... DID you use the same Windows Version SP1? 64 bit? read your label agian... Give them a call and have them activate it over the phone... easy, fast and painless.
