I've been reading a lot here lately and the more threads i read the more confusing it is in deciding which component will i need. And it's also very hard for me to find the best components suggested in this forum because of the availability here in my place. I am in Cebu, and there really is limited number of suppliers for computer peripherals.

Here are the components I have collected so far here as what i have read here.
Motherboard : ASUS P8Z77-V LK
CPU : i5 3570 [K? or non K?]
HDD : Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black
GPU : Palit GTX 650 ti 1024MB DDR5 OC 128 bit / ASUS GTX 650 ti 1024MB DDR5 128 bit / XFX HD7790 1024MB 128bit DDR5
RAM : Kingston 4GB HyperX 1600MHz DDR3
Chassis : Cooler Master HAF 912 / Thermaltake Level 10 GTS / Cooler Master N500
PSU : SilverStone ST60F-P Strider 600W
CPU Cooler : Deepcool Gamma Storm / Deepcool Fiendshark

These parts are based on the availability from the shops i have visited so far here in my place. What i need are comments for these components and any good alternatives for lesser price. I will just find a way where to get it. Items in blue, i can't really decide what to choose. Green, open for suggestions from other reliable brands.

Thanks :D

Hard to suggest without knowing your budget (and preferred websites to buy).

As for the K or non K version of the i5-3570, it depends if your planning or not to OC the CPU, if your budget is that strained then go for the non K version.

Regarding GPU I'd say go with the HD7790, it performs slightly better than the GTX 650 Ti for the same (or lower price depending of course the offers in your country).

You should really try to get 8GB of RAM, it will make a huge difference when playing modern games.

By the way, this build is purely for gaming and software development, but mostly gaming. And some video edits I guess, but i don't do multitask.
I want this build to play games released on 2012 and below. And can accommodate newer games even if at lower settings. I may be doing a Crossfire or SLI on the future. And will be using 2 monitors.

I would go with the 3570k, you're already getting a Z77 motherboard which allows for overclocking.

Would probably recommend the ASUS 650 Ti of those three.

Look into possibly getting the XFX 550W PSU, Silverstone.. is a no.

Thank you for the reply, I'm not buying from websites. And it's really hard for me to find any alternatives from where I am. But I will really find a way to find the best quality from the available options i have here.
I won't be doing any OC so i guess i'll get the non K.
For the GPU, if i get the HD7790, is XFX a reliable manufacturer?
And for the RAM, I will try to get 2x4GB.

I will post a list tomorrow with what is available here in my place. Is Antec any better? I found a shop with Antec PSUs but I haven't checked their prices yet.

Yes, XFX is a reliable brand, since you're going with the non K version, you might wanna consider buying a cheaper motherboard (keep using good brands like Gigabyte, ASUS, ASrock etc) just choose a mobo with a lower chipset, that saved money you could use to invest on a better GPU (and of course the 8GB of RAM).

Do you have any alternatives for P8Z77-V LK from other brands? And i really want this board to live a long life that's why i chose a brand i have known for reliability, ASUS. But if you can suggest a brand as reliable as ASUS, i'm open to that.

Ok i'll check that shop later and will be posting it here. Thanks so much for the reply.

My only thoughts were A) should go minimum 8GB, more better to just splurge for 16GB when this past weekend was $100. B) did you add the cost for Windows? You can't 'move it' from a current OEM system, it is tied to the hardware C) Did you check for higher PSU requirements since you plan to SLI/Crossfire? Normally I seen them around the 750W range instead, so better to invest now if your set to do that. Personally I don't see a reason for SLI/Crossfire as usually it underperforms as compared to the newest single card solution you one day will upgrade to anyway. D) Personally I rather do a $349 i5Core from Walmart, then just invest $99+ for a 600W+ PSU, then spend the rest on a video card, but don't go R9/Nvidia 7xxx the i5Core will bottleneck that level. You should be prepared (on BF4) to just be on High not Ultra to keep 50FPS or so at 1900x1080.

Thank you for the reply.
The reason i will be doing a sli/crossfire is because for now, i really can't afford a good card, what i can is a nice card for the 650ti price range and just add another on the future to upgrade. But if it's not practical i will just save my money for a better card and just make sure the other components are up and ready.

As what RaDiKaL_ said, i can get a better board for cheaper price since im not going to take the non K i5 3570. For now i can't find an alternative for ASUS P8Z77-V LK.
The PSU, i'll visit more shops here and see what other options i have.

you could go with a ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP LGA 1155, or stick to ASUS and go for a mobo with the H77 chipset, that should save you around 30$-50$.

One thing to look at while picking the mobo, some will only support SLI others only Crossfire (like the ASRock I just mentioned) so if you're gonna SLI/Crossfire later take that into account to see which GPU you're gonna buy now.

That's really helpful, i am now looking at this ASRock Pro4/MVP and this GA-H77-DS3H.
