Im currently using Asus P8Z68 deluxe 2nd generation with corsair vengeance (4GB X 2) 1600MHz, if I upgraded with different mhz for example
1866 Mhz corsair dominator (4GB x2)
Can it make my computer run fast? im confused please help me.

Solution
It's best not to mix ram speeds. Upgrading from 1600 to 1866Mhz won't make too much of a difference.
Keep the one you have or get the exact same model and upgrade to 16GB.

If you mix RAM, the best result you can hope for is that it works at the lowest of the two speeds.
Often if it works at all, it will be even slower than that, or the motherboard will only recognize some of the ram, or it won't even POST.
Read what your motherboard's manual has to say about adding RAM. What is compatible, and which slots to put it in.

Once you have compatible RAM, larger amounts generally improve overall system performance (to a point)
But save your money and either:
1. Get ram that identically matches your existing RAM (and even that is no guarantee) or
2. Say goodbye to the old RAM and get a new matched 16GB set that is QVL certified by Asus to work in that board.

Never a good idea to mix DRAM - even the same exact model, it can be problematic - for 16GB best bet is get a 2x8GB set, something Like the GSkill Ripjaws X or Snipers for your mobo in 1866/9, could sell off the old DRAM or use it in another rig, and, could try it with your new sticks, if it will play together, then it's a bonus of an extra 8GB
