Hi, I'm going to upgrade my videocard from an ATI HD 5850 to an NVIDIA GTX 760, and I just want to make absolutely sure before I make the purchase that my PC is compatible. By comparing specs requirements of the ATI HD 5850 and GTX 760, I'm almost sure that it will. Both require a pair of 6 pin connectors. Power Supply must be, at a minimum, 500w for both, mine is 600w. But, again, since I'm no expert, I want to be absolutely sure.

My system specs:

Model: Gateway FX6831-01
Motherboard: Gateway H57M01
CPU : Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80GHz
OS: WIN 7
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz

Thanks for your help! I assume since my ATI HD 5850 is successfully plugged on the same PSU, the GTX 760 can be as well.

These are the two models I'm thinking of buying:

and

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DKX0NBU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1OL2QPKLA93XC

Not sure if they are the same or slightly different. Neither of them say which kind of connectors they require.
