You are talking about adapter cable if your PSU has does not have the required 6pin PCIe power connector! Not needed if the PSU has the correct connector.

Find this http://images.anandtech.com/reviews/shows/computex/2004... (6 pin power cord) from your PSU then plug that in to your GPU.

wow i just fixed the problem, can't believe gigabyte actually gives shitty pci connectors, everyone needs to know how to fix this, what i did was get a needle inside the pci connector the one that connects to the gpu the black thing, one of the metal in that was a bit up so one of the pins could not enter, ah fk i regret pressing hard but it is all ok now i just moved that metal thing a bit down with a needle and it entered and ticked with no pressure at all, is it a problem if i pressed it hard earlier? will it affect it? anyways something else i need to know that pci connector you showed me, you see the white things that connect to the psu, do you i need to connect one of them or both of them to the psu?

It is not a good sign for your PSU if it does not have the PCIe power connector! What is its make and model?

I belief this is it http://www.amazon.co.uk/550W-Gold-Silent-Power-Supply/d... and in the pictures it shows at least 1 6pin PCIe power connector.
I can though say that is a low quality unit.

Are you using the included adapter or the cable directly from the PSU?

Well what I am saying is that you do not need to use the adapter since you have a cable on the PSU that goes directly to that connector. The adapter is for people that do not have the cable on the PSU so it is optional!
