So, I was looking up specs for my GPU comparing it to the Ps4 and xbox and I came across a review. It stated:
Bought this card 8 months ago and it's still working great. Total I paid 199 and it came with Farcry 3 Blood Dragon, Bioshock Infinite, and Tomb Raider. Currently running 2 23" monitors in 1920x1080. Using the second display for programs to monitor things. Overclocks with ease. It handles Battlefield 4 on high settings on 1080p and gets 50-60 for with vsync on. 60-90 for with vsync off.

So for some reason I have the same card but can barely run BF4 on medium at 1280 x 1024. So I was wondering Which piece of hardware I must upgrade beside the GPu to get these results.
I have:
CPU: I3 3220 3.3GHZ
GPU: Radeon 7850 1gb
Ram: 8Gb's at 1600 Mhz
HDD: 1 TB at 7200 RPM's
I have adequate Fan usage I believe.
The only thing i could think of would be upgrading my cpu. IF so is it really that easy of a fix?

I have a 450 w psu also but thats just for the power. So what would be the best course of action? My Socket is LGA 1155 So any CPU better than the I3?

Given your current GPU you are good with running 1080p :)
