Hello,

I want to build a gaming system, but with the new gaming consoles coming out I was wondering if I should just get one of those?

Solution
Get a PC.

PS4 = $400 + $60 each year (PSN) + $60 game

PC = $600 + free online multiplayer + $40 exact same game

After a few years you'd be spending more money with a console than you'd do with a PC and you'll also get better graphics. You can also install mods on your games e.g.:
Iron Man mod for GTA
Cars on Skyrim
Graphics mods
etc.

What is your budget?
Better build a pc.
Ps4 has an amd jaguar processor with 8 cores clocked arond 1.8 ghz.
You can build a pc with thats way better for a little more cost.
Ps4's gpu is somewhat like an 7850 or 7870.
You can build a pc with 7970 and an 8 core processor clocked at 3.5 ghz for 650$

If your PS4 warranty expires it will be hard to replace a part of it.

If the APU overheats for example, then you'll have a $400 paper weight.

But with a PC, if the CPU breaks just replace it for around $100 then you'd be playing again.
