I just installed Windows 7 and the games folder shows a long list of games. When I click on the majority of them I get a message "failed to initialize. Mahjong Titans is among the list that actually opens as well as Free Cell, and Solitaire.
For some of my other games I had to download new drivers.
If someone can help with this your time is appreciated.

Did you try changing from Vista x32 (32Bit ) to Windows 7 x64 (64Bit)? Most likely they aren't supported / working under 7 and why they aren't accessible. You can try to reinstall them , would be my suggestion but there is plenty out there otherwise to choose from.

That said you should have about 200 updates including up to Internet Explorer 11 (which does more then change IE, it changed Windows code for 'talking' to the Internet in general). It will take a long time, and keep doing till you get ' no new updates'.
Microsoft Games (Free Cell, Solitare, etc.) are included but depends what the other games are. Did you install Windows 7 OVER another Windows? What do you mean for some other games you had to download new drivers? If you installed Windows you would need to do ALOT of updates and installing of drivers BEFORE installing any programs (Office, Games, etc.).

Hi Tom..
Yes I installed Windows 7 over Vista it kept all my programs, files, ect.
What I meant by other games was Game House and HP games.
I did all 139 updates.
I know this sounds rather basic but I have never installed an operating system before.. I have no idea what the heck I am doing I just followed the instructions as they popped up.
