Currently I am only able to run 9 clients on EVE Online
I would like to run upwards of 14-15

Current Rig

CPU: AMD 6 core 3.31 GHz
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 660
Powersupply: 750W Corsair
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX

With 9 clients running CPU usage according to Resource Monitor in the windows Task manager shows 70-85% usage.
RAM usage shows 70%
GPU usage is 744Mhz (which is 60% iirc) average 900mn Voltage 38-41*C
If a 10th client is turned on it causes instability and 1 client will inevitably crash leaving 9 clients active.

I divided between the idea to upgrade the CPU/RAM from 3.31GHz to 4.4-4.7GHz and 16GB - 32 GB or simply build a entirely new rig.

My current motherboard specs can be seen here

The CPU Ive been eyeballing is

The RAM should be compatible

Im fairly sure I will have to get a better Power supply if I upgrade.

So the question ultimately boils down to
In order to run the amount of clients I would prefer to, Should I upgrade? If So Is upgrading even possible with my current motherboard.
Or Should I bite the bullet and build a new rig.
I would of course prefer the cheaper option
but would love some advice either way.

Solution
i think you should just get the FX-8320 and overclock it. i dont know much about EVE online so i don't really get running clients and stuff but if cpu power is what you need then go with this FX

the 8350 is the same chip as the 8320, but with slightly higher clocks. you can easily overclock you cpu to over 8350 levels though. the 9370 is such an inefficient cpu. its performance does not warrant a 220w tdp. you need a liquid cooler for that and think about the electrcity bills. you could get a liquid cooler for the 8320 and overclock it to 9370 speeds

Understood, I think I will try this out, get some more RAM, better cooler and see how many more clients I can manage.
