Will a Corsair CX600 be OK for the following set up ?

Hello,

I'm currently in the process of building a PC with the following specs:

CPU: Intel i7 4770K
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87x-D3h or ASRock Z87 extreme4
RAM: 8GB 1600mhz DDR3
GPU: Sapphire R9 280x Vapor-X
PSU: Corsair CX600 600W
Storage: 500 GB HDD

Hence, I have the following questions (mainly regarding the PSU):

- Can you please confirm if a Corsair CX600 will be OK for the above set up?
- What sort of overclock potential does this PSU have? please note that I wont be doing any high end liquid cooling stuff.
- As far as I know, this PSU will have the two 8 pin (i.e. 2+6 pin) connectors needed for the GPU, correct?
- Will this PSU be OK if I intend to add an SSD and perhaps another HDD in the future?
- Is there any difference between a Corsair CX600 v2 and v3?
- I dont really intend to go to the Crossfire/SLi route in the future, however, will this PSU be able to handle it just in case?

Appreciate your help and support.

Solution
That antec would be a much better choice. Made by Seasonic, arguably the best psu maker right now. Corsair has some great PSUs but the CX lineup is more designed for an entry level computer, not a high end overclocked gaming machine.

Thanks for the input. Should have mentioned earlier but I live in Dubai (UAE) and my choices here are limited regarding a decently priced PSU.

Can you please share your thoughts regarding the CX600? as it is reasonably priced and available.

cx is more mainstream and not meant for too much overclocking, especially when your power usage is close to the max output. you might not have enough power for a overclocked 280x if you add in everything. for crossfire you should get a 850w psu or higher

Well, I guess if everything works then I should be fine.

Also, is the Antec HCG-620M (slighty more expensive) a notable improvement over the Corsair CX600? I understand that the Antec has only 20W more, but perhaps may be better for mild overclocking?

Thanks for the input. Will definitely check if the Antec is available in Dubai.

Do you have any idea how much overclock potential / headroom the Antec will give me (both GPU and CPU) based on the above spec? Please note that I'll only be considering via air and not liquid cooling.
