Will this erase my memory

Ive just bought a brand new mobo gpu and cpu. This is the first time ive only upgraded my pc instead of build one from scratch. My question is if i replace those 3 core elements is pc stay the same or am i going to have to basically reformat my system.

With a new motherboard and CPU you should reinstall the OS.

if your old pc died before you could get the data off. with the new rig you may be able to get into windows singf the f8 safe mode with the new parts then copying your data off. with the new parts the hardware drivers are not the same and most times windows will bsod all over itself. also your old oem number wont work and you have to buy a new copy of windows. (you get that 30 day warning at post with your old info).

So basically win 7 will be reinstalled. is there anything i need to do with the mobo once all the components have been put in place or will it be ready for the windows cd?
