I'm maybe building this:
C/MASTER 625W EXTREME 2 POWER PSU
AMD FX 8350
Crucial Ballistix 1866MHz RAM
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 SOCKET AM3 MOTHERBOARD
AMD R9 290
KINGSTON HYPER-X 3K 120GB SSD SATA-6
C/MASTER STORM ENFORCER CHASSIS
WD CAVIAR BLACK 1TB 64M SATA-6
LG 24X GH24NS95 DVD-WRITER SATA
D-LINK DGE-528T GIGABIT PCI NETWORK CARD

Will this system run smootly without any bottlenecks? If so, what FPS can I get with this computer? (Battlefield 4, COD:Ghosts, Crysis 3 on Ultra settings)

A brilliant build indeed!!! it awesome, I have fx 8350+r9-290 and this is a monster, no matter what you throw at it, it rips them all off, everything will work flawlessly, but one thing, I know that the whole system wont draw more than 450w because I ran furmark, and my whole system didn't draw more than 430w , but don't you want to create a bigger headroom for overclocking and etc, if so go with a 700 or 750w power supply, other than that, this rig is FAN-TASTIC!
Don't forget to close the post, if you feel you don't have any other questions

i agree wiith logain of hades coolermaster extreme versions are abolute crap for gaming purposes the gx series is better quality. i use these in some low end gaming rigs

if looking for a decent power supply cheaply look for 600w evga 80 plus

I've tried to solve the issues........ (i.e. the power supply)
Hopefully this build will be flawless.
I had to change to RAM though... was over my budget. Hopefully it won't drop in performance.

drop to a 8320, you are getting an aftermarket cooler no point in paying more for a 8350.

Drop that power supply, its garbage, stick to well reviewed/trusted builders like seasonic, etc.

Get 1600 ddr3 with 9 9 9 24 or better (lower) stats unless the price is nearly the same for the 1866.

Based on the benchmarks you will have nasty fps drops on Ghosts with amd cpus.

Stop lying through your teeth, it is a shame. It is a lie, he can be easily neglected, and do you have an AMD CPU!? :)) these guys make me laugh, I have fx 8350+r9-290, you wont have any fps drop of any kind. from what I understand this guy has a bad reputation in babbling on nonsense, and intel guy indeed FX 8350+R9-290X>>>I7-4770K +R9-280X. Seeing is believing, in accordance with what I have seen, I can only laugh at your comment

lying about what? specify.

And yes I have a system with a 1055t.

And yes, read the review from this very site... Ghosts is a poorly coded piece of shit...

"from what you understand?" Are you retarded? 5 years old?

I am playing call of duty ghosts, it never drops below 56 fps on my fx 8350+r9-290 and this is not only for AMD cpus, even i7-4770k drops to 54 http://www.hardwarepal.com/call-duty-ghosts-benchmark-cpu-gpu-performance/6/ so don't say due to AMD CPUs, that's a lie...

Did you bother to read that review? Intel's gain over 10 fps minimum in cpu bound situations...

What resolution do you play at?

Unoptimized piece of shit...

I play at 1080p, I have never had any frame drops of any kind!! have you tried installing the latest patches!? because your saying is so wired to me,

Then you're eyeballing shit without using an actual proper fps measuring aid.

The website you gave yourself shows the 8350 has drops almost 12 fps lower than a 4670k at 1080p when it matters most...

Maybe next time you need to actually read the entirety of the benchmarks you are trying to use to prop up your claims.

Insulting wont help you mate, the lowest one gets at 1080p in this game with fx 8350 is 69fps, since when can you say 80fps and 69 fps apart!? I have never dropped below 73fps, even if I did, I wouldn't notice it, anything above 60 fps is butter smooth, I am an fx 8350 owner, so I say, it runs this game and any game butter smooth, stop spreading baseless rumors!!

I would still stick with my 8350. I don't mind buying an aftermarket cooler.

I can't find any others that would ship to malaysia for a cheap price. (Or IS available in Malaysia directly in my case) If you could find any, I'd like to see it.

Again, same reason as above. (RAM)

I have a budget to spend. So, no I am not getting an Intel CPU. Too expensive.

The FX 8350 is only $20 dollars cheaper than the i5-3570k. Since you have a R9 290, a Gigabyte 990FX MoBo, and a 120GB SSD, its hard to believe that this is a "budget" build.

It is not ;) It is indeed a really expensive build but I still have a budget of around RM4000 only.

While the R9 290 is pretty pricey, the Gigabyte 990FX board isn't that expensive. It was selling for about $125 the last couple weeks. Looks like the price went back up to about $134-$150. Also, I wouldn't buy the FX 8350. FX 8320 is a better value.
