Yes i know i have an old cpu and i should upgrade but for now this is pretty good for games and school work. Problem is when its gaming after maybe 1-2 hours temperatures reach 80 Degrees celcius. i have a thermaltake frio and i used the pea method. on the frio fans are put on low , should i buy new thermalpaste ? will i get better temps ? should i ramp up the fan speed on the cpu cooler? any help appreciated, my budget is 20$ for thermalpaste, i dont have money for anything else. THanks

Solution
the cpu fans should be controlled by the mb. if they dont ramp up then the cpu going to run hot. I would set the cpu fan speed to high or auto and make sure it ramping up under load.

the cpu fan is controlled automatically. there arent any connectors on the motherboard except for cpu fans. the cpu fan is set on low due to noise. ill bump it up a little bit just to see if temps improve or not/
