Hello I received my parts and im trying to do a test build. My mobo is a Asus hero and my psu is a Corsair ax 760. The cable im trying to plug into the motherboard for the cpu header/plug doesn't match up with the shapes on the motherboard. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with the same psu and mobo combo. Also do the shapes not matter in this case? The cable still fits fine in the thing.

the shape order for the mobo is
rounded, square, square, rounded
square, rounded, rounded, square
while the cable it self if a 4x4 split in half and the order for that is
rounded, square rounded, rounded,
square, rounded, rounded, rounded

Okay, can you post an image of the CPU connector of the AX 760? Preferably of the side that has the latch/latches.

Both side has latches. The picture quality is pretty so i'll draw a picture instead if thats alright. The boxes are the squared input things while the blobs are the rounded edge one. Its a pretty crude drawing.

Just make sure you put them together, and then line up the latches with the latch on the CPU power connector on the motherboard.
