@%@%@Warning I'm long winded in this post go to the bottom for a summary@%@%@

So for the past few weeks my computers fan (the one connected to the heatsink) has been acting up making a loud noise on startup and a few other problems, so I took it to my brother he used to fix computers in his spare time and he told me my fan was just going out and it needed to be replaced. He told me to just go to the store and pick up a standard fan. So I went to my local electronics store and picked up a standard (they told me this was standard for my computer) 120mm fan... and it was too big for my computer.

my computer details:

Gateway Intel Core I3 processor 540
It's not a standard size computer I call it a mini computer but I believe they are called micros
(as seen here http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/24/gateway-unveils-dx-m... this looks like its the exact computer I have)

I googled my fan and it looks like its a 92 mm by 88 mm fan and my question is do stores usually carry these. (my fan is circular not square)

@@%@@Summary@@%@@

This is my computer http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/24/gateway-unveils-dx-m... and I need a new fan but a 120mm fan is too big I did a bit of research and I found that a 92mm by 88mm might fit but I don't know if stores usually carry this and I would like your opinions on this fan size. and please take note my fan is circular not square.

1: Don't just look at the fan, measure it.
2: Unless you have a computer store that carries lots of parts you will probably need to order a replacement fan if is is not the standard square box fan.

Also I doubt the fan is 92mm x 88mm.. 92x25 or 92x32 maybe.. A 92x88 would almost be a cube.
