Hello folks! This is my first post here since I found everything I needed and everything was solved.
I was looking alot and didn't expect not to find it, so I have decided to ask you, PROS!

Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Vapor-X has TWO external (1x6pin and 1x8pin) power connectors. Where is the catch? Am I required to connect both of them?
Which power supply do you recommend for CrossFire (2x Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Vapor-X)?

And another off topic:
If anyone knows, does XFX R9 290 can still be flashed to 290x or has been fixed with a laser cut?

You will need to connect 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin cable into your graphics card. What Power supply do you have? 750Watts i would say for crossfire. 600W is ok for a single.

Crossfire it is. I have 1250W thats not a problem. I'm just curious if it works without those two connectors since it wont be ever on full load.

Both connectors are always required even under zero load.
