Hi. Yesterday I bought a casual gaming rig, its a whole system unit package without a PSU and DVD rom, because I already have a HEC Raptor R500 and I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 via bootable flash drive. After couple of hours playing (GTA IV, Castlevania LoS, NBA2K14, NFSMW) my system suddenly restarted and its still happening until now, without any warning and sometimes at very first minute of booting up, while browsing internet or playing music. It is really annoying because I really don't know where or what to look at.

My specs:
Intel Pentium G3220
Gigabyte GA H81M DS2
Sapphire R7 260x 2GB/128bit OCed
G.Skill Ripjaws X 4gbx2 1600 CL7
Seagate Barracuda 320gb
Aerocool GT Casing
HEC Raptor R500

TIA

Solution
That's a poor brand. You should stick to Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, and XFX. 500W or greater from any of those brands will be fine.

It sounds like either power or temperature. Will it say on long enough to use hwmonitor to check gpu/cpu temps? I have a feeling it's the psu, but checking temps couldn't hurt.

Thanks for the quick response and advice. My CPU's temp is 38 for both cores and 40 for my GPU. Even at these temps, my unit is still restarting :(
