Hey guys, going to be building a new BUDGET rig for Christmas trying to hit around 700 (AUD) as the sweet spot as far as the price. So far the rig I'm looking at is :
AMD-FX6300 - $129
NVIDIA GTX 660 (non ti) - $219
8GB KINGSTON DDR3 1600 - $83
ASROCK 970-EXTREME3 - $98
SEAGATE 1TB 7200RPM HDD - $66
THERMALTAKE 650W 80+ PSU - $90
THERMALTAKE MS3 CASE - $58

So my questions are:

Is this suitable to overclock (with aftermarket CPU fan?

How important is a certified PSU?

Would you suggest any way I could cut down on cost?

Should I dig a bit deeper for an SSD?

Do you think this is a good rig?! :)
Thanks in advance for your help :)

This would be better. The PSU is better made and the motherboard is a better overclocker.
