Delete a whole drive from secondary PC?

Can I take out my SSD, connect it to another computer, and wipe OS, software and everything else on it?

Am I going to be able to wipe everything? No Windows data protection bullshit?

I have my Win7 CD for reinstall. Reinstalling because I'm getting a black screen on boot

Yes.
Also, the Win7 install CD will be able to do this as well.

There's no need to install the SSD on another computer. Just boot from the Windows 7 DVD and you can re-format the partition that way. Or simply delete the partition and create a new one. Either way you can do it with the Windows 7 DVD.
