YES.!
ASUS is good but most of the times you can't overclock with the asus motherboards because the CPU temperature becomes too hot.
Gigabyte is Better than ASUS in some cases.

go with asus M5A97 EVO/PRO or Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3. they both are decent OC'ers with the gigabyte being better due to better VRM config.
