Hi, I recently bought a new WiFi adapter for my notebook which ended up being the Intel Centrino Ultimate N 6300. I uninstalled my current Qualcomm Atheros AR5B125 got it out of my notebook and popped in the new Intel card. I attached the antennas and fired up my notebook. I copied the drivers via a USB thumb drive to my notebook and installed them without problems. But then the WiFi signal didn't want to turn on. I restarted my notebook to no avail. Pressing the WiFi switch on my notebook doesn't seem to be responding and in the Windows Mobility Center the turn wireless signal on option is grayed out. When running the manual diagnose tool from Intel successfully does the hardware and driver tests but the radio test fails. Does someone know if I can fix this, or did I just waste my money? Also the notebook is a HP Pavilion G6.
