I also have a emachine and I switched a hard drive that had win 7 on it and it won't boot up so what can I do to fix it?

The title says it all also it gave a list of problems through system recovery the first time I did it it said it was successful and reboot it went right back to resetting when the Microsoft boot flag thing was appearing and when I tried system recovery it said it wouldn't be fixed automatically if you need the list of errors I can type them out.

Yes, sometimes you get exactly that result.

Clean reinstall is your best option.
