So this is the first time I've ever setup raid.
And I used 2 2tb seagate drives and it came up like this in disk manager.

Is that normal cause i thought i should have a bit under 4tb. And I can't format the 1678.03gb unallocated space.
Any help is much appreciated.

What operating system are you using? Windows 7?

If you want to be able to boot from this partition you will need to format as GPT and your motherboard has to be relatively new to support booting from >2TB

Will this be your boot partition or just a data one?
You do realize that with RAID0 if one drive breaks then all data is lost?

In diskmanager, if you right click on the "RAID0 F:" and choose "extend volume", you should be able to extend it across the entire RAID array.

One question I would have for you, RAID0 is great to combine two drives into one, IF it is absolutely necessary (i.e. Windows Media Center requires a single drive for storing your recordings). The risk of doing this, if either drive dies - you lose your entire drive.

With Windows, drive letters are becoming obsolete - you can choose where your libraries are located....it would be a better choice to use both drives in a non-RAID setup.

Nailed it, made it a GPT disk and it works fine thanks for the link. I'm just using it for games and i make regular back ups but i may switch back later, I was just looking for faster speeds without spending the money on a second ssd.
