A while back I got a Dell Inspiron 5520 that ran like a dream for months on end, then it suddenly crashed in the middle of running it. It ran a handful of times after that before randomly crashing again with no warning, no signs of a problem, just instantly dead. I've tried removing the battery and running on straight power, holding the power button for 20 seconds and adding the battery back again, but I get nothing.
When starting it up, the three buttons on the right will blink in concession. Each will blink on from left to right, then right to left, then all will light up and it will just start beeping. No screen, no nothing. Just four short beeps with a pause, three times in a row(so 12 beeps broken up by a space every four).
I've tried a million helps forums but all for not and I can't seem to even locate a beep code list that has my beep type listed. Can anyone help?
